Real Country’s morning show, Daybreak, is excited to introduce premier broadcaster Richard Lee. Lee will be joining our team officially May 15, 2013. Richard served as a broadcaster for Buck Owens Studios in Bakersfield, California and hosted his own nationwide show for ABC’s radio networks. Hank Williams, Jr. once said “This man knows how to do a show!” and we couldn’t agree more.

Richard has been a key force in the organization and creation of The Real Country format and Great American Country Nights. Lee has hosted at America’s ultimate entertainment destinations, making appearances at places like Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Cruises, Sea World, and Jamaica’s Travel and Culture Group, just to name a few.

Throughout his career Richard Lee has hosted some of country music’s biggest industry legends. George Jones and Tammy Wynette granted Lee an exclusive in-home interview about the Jones estate. With encounters featuring Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and GeorgeStrait to interviews with Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and our Texas sweetheart Miranda Lambert, Richard is well versed with great morning show tales for our listeners and brings a great presence to the leading country music station in the hill country.

Ranch Radio Group is always trying to produce the best product we can for our listeners and we know that you will love Richard Lee as much as all the members of our team have come to over the past few weeks. Please join us in making him feel welcome as he joins our The Real Country team and the heart of Hill Country!
