An NFL Player Spent $19,000 on a Shopping Spree for Needy Kids at Toys “R” Us

Andre Johnson plays wide receiver for the Houston Texans and runs a charity foundation.  On Tuesday, he held his annual holiday shopping spree.  He took 12 at-risk children . . . selected by Child Protective Services . . . and gives them 80 seconds in Toys “R” Us to put as many toys as they can in their cart.  This year, the total bill came to $19,521 . . . or about $1,600 worth of toys for each kid.
